Who it's for

Global Health Source is a dedicated healthcare recruiter.  We are experienced in placing a variety of staff within the health professions, including medical practitioners, consultants, sonographers, radiographers, nuclear medicine technologists, MRI technologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and podiatrists.  Many contracts include assistance with accommodation and travel expenses. With over 25 years in dedicated healthcare recruitment we know the Australian and New Zealand markets better than anyone.  Achieving the best remuneration package possible is our mission.  We know your legal entitlements, what your colleagues are earning and how much you are worth. Our staff includes registered migration agents for Australia and a licenced migration adviser for New Zealand. Whether you are travelling solo or with a partner and children, we can provide you with the most appropriate migration advice for your circumstances.  We can prepare and submit temporary and resident visa applications on your behalf. We also offer an independent migration service dedicated to health professionals who may only require visas.

How it works

  1. Enquire
    Complete the GHS Application Form and Skills List and provide us with a copy of your CV. One of our recruitment consultants will be in touch to discuss your needs.
  2. Profile & matching
    We will assist you through the registration process for your respective profession. One of our migration professionals will be in touch to discuss your needs.
  3. Interview & offer
    Upon successful registration we will reference check and begin discussing you with our clients. Our recruitment consultants will organise interviews, negotiate contracts and relocation.
  4. Onboarding
    GHS liaises with employers to ensure that all their internal onboarding documentation is completed. Arrival and commencement information is provided to ensure you arrive on shore job-ready.

FAQ

Will I receive financial support to relocate to Australia or New Zealand?
Relocation support varies between contracts and employer.  Some employers will contribute an airfare and initial accommodation of up to 4 weeks.  Other employers may offer reimbursement of expenses (upon the presentation of receipts) up to a certain dollar amount.  This will be negotiated as part of the contract, so there are no surprises.
Will the employer pay my registration costs and visa application fees?
Registration costs and visa application fees will not be paid by employers.  These costs are the responsibility of the recruit.
Is there a fee for candidates using GHS services?
No. Our recruitment and placement services are free for candidates. We are remunerated by the healthcare employers we partner with.
