Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

What are my Australian visa options?
Australia offers a range of visas for skilled workers, including employer-sponsored, skilled migration and temporary work visas, each with specific eligibility and pathways to permanent residency. Whether you are a candidate seeking to work in Australia or are an employer wanting to sponsor an overseas worker, Global Health Source can provide you with the appropriate advice for your circumstances. GHS can also provide advice on the most appropriate visas for family members travelling with you.
How is the New Zealand process different to Australia?
New Zealand does not use employer sponsorship in the same way as Australia and many other countries. To recruit from overseas, a New Zealand employer must become accredited with Immigration New Zealand. We guide both candidates and employers through the process.  Whether you want a working holiday, a temporary move or perhaps residence, Global Health Source can provide you with the appropriate advice for your circumstances.
Can I use my existing professional registration in Australia or New Zealand?
No. Australia and New Zealand require international graduates to become registered in Australia or New Zealand with the appropriate local registration body in order to practice.  Global Health Source can guide you through the registration process for the greatest chance of success. Registration is the first step in recruitment, then a job offer followed by migration.  One step depends on the other and we help you sequence the process for a seamless move.
Is there a fee for candidates?
No.  It is illegal in Australia to charge candidates a recruitment placement fee.  Beware any recruiter who tells you otherwise. If we place you in a role we will prepare your temporary work visa for free as part of our recruitment service (you merely pay the application fee to the Immigration Department).  We charge a reduced fee for preparation of visas for family members travelling with you, and for residence class visas.
