Anelia's story

After lots of contemplation, homework and many conversations, we decided to uproot our family. Moving to another country is a huge decision and the process can feel incredibly overwhelming. My story was not straightforward as there were many obstacles to overcome, and it is nothing short of a few miracles. My whole story started in January 2024, and I arrived in New Zealand in March 2025. I stepped on NZ soil as a resident and there is not a single moment that I regret taking this step. From the very beginning, they made what was an extremely stressful and overwhelming process feel more straightforward and manageable. Belinda and every one of the GHS team guided me through every step of the application process, ensuring I had all the required documentation in order and explaining exactly what paperwork needed to be submitted, even if changes were needed, and they made sure nothing was overlooked. Whenever I had questions (and I had a lot!), they were always patient, reassuring and quick to respond. They kept me informed about realistic timelines and what to expect throughout the process. One of the things I appreciate most was how proactive they were. They arranged interviews for me while I was visiting New Zealand, making the most of my time and helping me secure the right opportunities that ultimately led me to where I am today. I did not give them an easy task as I needed to be placed in a certain area, Whangārei. Even that didn't slow them down. I never felt like just another client – they treated me with kindness, encouragement and genuine interest in helping me achieve my goal. Their expertise, dedication and personal approach made all the difference. Today, I'm proud to be working as an MRI technologist in New Zealand, and I am incredibly grateful to Global Health Source for helping me make this possible and for everything they did.
