Athena's story

In August 2020, my spouse and I made a life changing decision to move from South Africa to Australia. With so many beautiful cities, so much opportunity, an excellent education system and being one of the safest countries in the world, Australia without a doubt offered us a higher standard of living. My goals were to upskill and continue to grow in my field as a radiographer, while achieving work life balance and leading a better-quality lifestyle. Taking such a huge step, especially with our baby boy, was certainly going to be stressful and overwhelming. With my busy schedule daily, I knew I would require assistance with the process. A few of my friends (previous work colleagues) have immigrated to Australia over the years with the help of recruitment agency, Global Health Source.
