An ‘in principle’ free trade deal agreement between Australia and the United Kingdom has been reached. It is the UK’s first major trade deal since Brexit.
Under the deal, the age limit for working holiday visas will be increased in both countries to 35 and will provide up to three years of working rights in either nation.
In addition the introduction of a new agricultural specific visa will scrap the requirement to complete 88 days of farm work.
Australia and the UK are still yet to officially sign the agreement and still need to finalise some elements.
